About the Masterclass:
This fun-based interactive improv workshop will introduce students to the fundamental skills and concepts of improvisation while fostering a safe and supportive environment for everyone to play, grow and thrive together. Students will experience a variety of group exercises and short form games and will walk away having heightened their ability to think quickly, listen, let go of judgement, use their body & voice in new ways, explore free-play, support their peers, try out characters, take risks, enhance creative thinking, laugh, and bond with other humans.
About the Instructor:
Andrew Ritter has been teaching improv, musical improv and acting for 25 years. He taught and performed at The Second City in Chicago as well as the Improv Olympic (iO) theater. He has directed hundreds of improv and sketch comedy shows including the critically acclaimed family friendly improv show: The Greatest Story Never Told. Andrew is a member of SAG/AFTRA and has been on screen in a variety of TV shows & short films. He is the founder & Artistic Director of Interact Creative and he acts and directs regularly with The Middlebury Acting Company.
